Visit the official CD Release page for all the details and don't be the only monster kid in your town to go without!

RAMONES TRIBUTE BENEFIT 2005: The Cruds are stoked to announce a special event that we are putting together for early 2005 @ our favorite Nashville spot The End. The Music City Ramones Tribute will feature 6 or 7 bands including The Creeping Cruds paying tribute to Rock's greatest band The Ramones. Each band will perform a distinct set of Ramones covers and the profits will be given to The American Cancer Society on behalf of Joey and Johnny. Be there or be dead fool!

8/04: I think we have a record! The Incredibly Strange People Who Stopped Living and Became The Creeping Cruds is ready for finishing touches, mastering and duplication. The first and only "teaser" tune I SOLD MY BRAIN was pro mastered by Joe Lambert at Classic Sound NYC and it sounds BIG.. Check it out HERE. Cruds drummer Roxy "Roger" Trash has been on the road for the past few weeks with Alabamy's Pine Hill Haints. We're hoping he'll make it back in a couple of useable pieces so we can put together a few gigs this fall, including a goddamn record release bash...

Sad sad news... we regret to have to pass along news that Hollerin' Jack Daves, singer for our creepy Nashville horror band & Chiller Cinema co-horts The Exotic Ones passed away last month. Jack is the voice behind Chiller Cinema's infamous theme song "The Doctor is In.... SANE". If you were a friend or fan please visit their website and leave your condolences on their message board.

RIP Jack Daves 1962-2004

6/04: Recording wrap-up! yeah yeah yeah, bla bla bla.. we've been promising to deliver this thing since the beginning of the year.. well dagnabbit it's real close. Jeano had to go back and re-write 75% of the words and record 'em right off. Well that part's done! Now that background vox have become prevalent in every tune (which definitely kicks horror-butt) they too must be added any day now... GUEST NEWS!:Dr Gangrene stopped by and recorded a few words of terror for the record.. Thanks Doc, sounds great! Stephen Blickenstaff, known for his famous cover artwork on The Cramps record "Bad Music for Bad People" is donating the artwork for the cover of our record! HOW ABOUT THAT!!! We are flat out stoked!!.... ALSO!! BIG SHOWS THIS SUMMER - check the dates!

Dr. Gangrene appears in human form during the daytime hours. Pictured here knockin out some words at The Island of Dr. Roid Studios...

5/04: RIP Travis. Be warned, the rumours that have been floating around for a week or so are confirmed true. Travis Crud, took a stake to the heart on April 28. 2004. We will miss Travis, who was known for his red suit and bizarre odors. His favorite destroyed mic stand was laid to rest on May 1st. The Cruds will not be stopped though. Mr. Roid has added lead vocals to his list of Cruds duties and the band will continue on without a hitch. Look for all new backing vocals as well - a first for the Cruds. The last piece of the puzzle for the upcoming Cruds CD was getting Travis to wrap his last vocal tracks. We will take a week or two to decipher and rewrite certain passages etc. and Jeano will add a fresh new voice to the tunes. In the long run, expect this move to speed up the overall process. Check back for news as it happens..

3/04: Cruds dates for 2004 are shaping up. Our return show will occur at the Old Time Pickin' Parlor in Nashville on March 27th followed by several unconfirmed dates in and around TN, KY and Alabama. New appearances on Chiller Cinema could happen on any weekend so keep tuning in. Nine tunes are recorded and awaited some final fader pushin' and knob twistin' before we start the process of getting the music to the monster kids. You never know what stuff is gonna sound like before you start laying down tracks but I can honestly say that these sessions far exceed expectations, especially since it has been 110% DIY to this point. Raw, angry, creepy stuff and NO FLUFF!

2/04: RECORDING UPDATE: 9 very loud and very hard rocking tunes have first tracks in the can. The project has moved back to Castle Roid for wicked guitar solos and some evil studio trickery. Travis and Rawger return from Ireland in early March just in time for Jeano to split for the mountain castles of Bavaria. Once these excursions are finished Travis will step in and provide some monster vocals and a final mix will then be attempted. After hearing what we already have in the can, I guarantee the goods. It will not dissapoint!

2/04: The Cruds are in the studio! Nashville's internationally known "Music Row" will have to wait because the Cruds are doing it themselves here at the Island of Dr. Roid Studios. Tracks for an upcoming Rock and Roll bonanza are being during the witching hours of February. Bastardized versions of all the favorite tunes will be included for release this Spring/Summer. All you monster kids can let the drooling begin..

12/03: Dates with Deicide, The Supersuckers and Dr. Gangrene were sandwiched into the Autumn of Evil debacle. A mighty bunch of shows and events they were. Cruds live footage will start showing on CHILLER CINEMA Channel 30 UPN in December and should be played randomly on the show from here on out. Big thanks to Dr. Gangrene for letting us blast an entire set of tunes onto live video. I have tons of pics from these dates to go thru and post. Keep checking in! Keep an ear out for The Pine Hill Haints (Travis & Roger's Alabamy Country roots band) as they roll through your town in the near future.. New Cruds dates are a'comin' so keep watching the dates page.. Recording a record inches closer as the year winds down. Dr. Gangrene has all but confirmed a Creeping Cruds night on CHILLER CINEMA to take place in early November. Word is The Cruds will be in the studio to lay down all the hits real soon... Until the next update.. stay CREEPY!

7/03: The Creeping Cruds have been talking to the legendary TV horror host Dr. Gangrene of Nashville's Chiller Cinema fame about a Creeping television appearance!! Check out Dr. Gangrene over at CHILLERCINEMA.com. and be sure to watch his shows on Nashville cable access Friday and Saturday nights as well as his Thursday night weekly special on UPN... Our gigs in Madison, TN and down in Florence AL were of the RAWK variety. The Florence show took place at a club that was butt-up against a Chris-chin' radio station that was broadcasting the lawd's music live. When the Cruds came on with the devil music blarin' and the Marshalls blazin' I'm sure the vibrations were such that it creeped it's way right onto the airwaves and sent an evil chill down the spine of every stiff who was listening in... We'll be back for a re-broadcast soon I hope!!

6/03: We have a schedule of live Cruds! Catch the Cruds in Madison TN on the 14th of June and in Florence AL on the 28th. Lookout for Creeping Cruds tune for downloading in the next few weeks. "I Eat The Living" and "Blood on the Banister" will be posted for your listening torture real soon!

5/03: Creeping Cruds Online version 4.0. That's right kids, the newest version of the crudsite is morphing into place right before your eyes. Check back every few days to see what's new. Look for The Creeping Cruds to creep onto the Nashville live music scene this summer. With evil tunes like "I Eat the Living", "Blood on the Banisters" and "I, Vampire", The Creeping Cruds should have some music available to squirt onto unsuspecting public in a few short weeks..
